1. Products and eligibility
CenturisTime and CenturisPOS are downloadable desktop products for workforce and retail operations. You must be legally able to enter into these Terms and have authority to accept them for any business or organisation you represent.
2. License grant
A one-time CenturisPOS perpetual license allows continued offline use and local-network register sync on one authorised computer at a time. It includes 12 months of software updates; update coverage can be renewed for additional 12-month periods. A full CenturisPOS subscription allows use of the app and its included cloud services while paid, with a 30-day selling grace period if renewal payment needs attention. The unpaid subscription invoice remains due during that period. After the grace period, new sales pause while existing local records remain accessible. Perpetual license owners can subscribe to cloud services separately at the configured lower rate. A license is a right to use the software, not a sale or transfer of ownership. You may move a perpetual license to a replacement machine through the supported transfer process; any verification or transfer limits shown in that process apply.
3. Accounts and device access
You are responsible for providing accurate account and purchase information and for keeping access to your email account secure. One-time verification codes and device approval requests are intended for the account holder or an authorised business representative. Approve only device requests that you initiated or are authorised to approve. We may refuse, suspend, or review access when information is fraudulent, unauthorised, or used to bypass license controls.
4. Acceptable use
You must use the website and products lawfully and in a way that respects the rights of others. You may not share, resell, rent, sublicense, or publicly distribute a license; bypass activation or verification; reverse engineer or modify the software except where applicable law permits; introduce malicious code; interfere with the service; or use the products to violate privacy, employment, consumer, or other applicable laws. You are responsible for obtaining the permissions needed for the employee, customer, and operational data you enter.
5. Local data and backups
Centuris products are local-first applications and keep operational records on the machine where the software is installed. A one-time CenturisPOS license also supports encrypted register-to-register sync over your local network. If you subscribe to CenturisPOS cloud services, supported register records are sent to Centuris services for cloud sync. Encrypted cloud backup snapshots are encrypted on the register before upload. You are responsible for your hardware, operating system, network, access controls, and regular backups. You are also responsible for reviewing records and meeting any payroll, tax, employment, retail, or other obligations that apply to your operation. The products may contact Centuris services for account or license verification and update checks, and some actions may require an internet connection.
6. Orders, payments, and digital delivery
CenturisTime and CenturisPOS perpetual licenses are one-time per-machine purchases. Purchases and update renewals are currently arranged directly with our team through WhatsApp or [email protected]. We accept US dollars and Egyptian pounds. InstaPay, Vodafone Cash, and other local payment methods are available by arrangement with our team. We agree the total, payment currency, method, and delivery details with you before payment. New cloud subscriptions are not open for purchase. Any existing subscription remains subject to the terms agreed at purchase. Licenses are issued electronically after payment verification; there is no physical shipment. Current delivery and refund rules are described in the Digital Delivery and Refund & Cancellation policies.
7. Support and product changes
For product, account, licensing, delivery, or payment questions, contact [email protected] and include the product and relevant order or account details. We aim to respond within two business days. We may release updates, change features, pause availability, or retire a feature when reasonably necessary. We will keep the public product and policy pages updated as the offering changes.
8. Intellectual property
The website, software, documentation, names, and branding are owned by Centuris or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Except for the license expressly granted in these Terms, no intellectual-property rights are transferred to you. Third-party names and hardware marks belong to their respective owners; Centuris products are independently developed and are not endorsed by or affiliated with third-party hardware brands.
9. Refunds and termination
Refunds and cancellations are handled under the Refund & Cancellation policy published on this site. We may suspend or end access to an account or license for material breach, fraud, unauthorised use, or conduct that creates a security or legal risk. If access ends, you must stop using the affected product and any copies that you are no longer licensed to use. Terms that by their nature should continue, including ownership, payment obligations, disclaimers, and limitations of liability, remain in effect.
10. Disclaimers and liability
To the extent permitted by law, the website and products are provided as available and without a promise that they will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for every particular workflow. You remain responsible for business decisions, legal compliance, data review, and backups. To the extent permitted by law, Centuris is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss or for loss caused by unsupported hardware, network failure, missing backups, or unauthorised access. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded.
11. Updates to these Terms
We may update these Terms by publishing a revised version on this page and changing the last-updated date above. If a change is material, we will provide reasonable notice where practical. Continued use of the website or products after the revised Terms take effect means you accept the updated Terms. If you have a question about these Terms, contact [email protected].
